This trigger allows you to add contacts to a Journey based on a particular Segment event. If you haven't yet connected to Segment learn more here.
1. Drop the Segment trigger on to the canvas and enter the event name:
Important: the event name must match the Track event name.
2. You can set the trigger to only start the Journey when the event contains certain properties. The example below shows where a plan selected on signup is Enterprise. You can add multiple required properties. This is great for highly targeted Journeys based on specific properties related to the event:
3. You can then add actions and conditions after the trigger as normal:
4. Publish the Journey.
5. Test the Journey by sending an event to Segment. You will know the event is working as the event will be shown in the Activity Feed:
